REPORTING / RECONCILIATION / DOCUMENTS

A report should answer a warehouse question.

Warehouse reporting turns operational records into a reviewable view of stock, movement and work. Veristow provides report-specific filters, sorting and supported export formats so users can review the warehouse, client and period that matter to the decision.

01

Define the question before the download

An owner comparing sites and a client checking its own stock need different scopes. Select the authorised warehouse and client, then choose the relevant period and report filters. Sorting and column selection should make the review easier without changing the meaning of the source records. Available filters vary by report.

Choose the report for the decision

Why did stock change?Stock movement ledgerProduct, unit, location, client and source movement
What remains to be completed?Operational task or order reportStatus, assignment and relevant period

02

Pick a format people can use

PDF is useful for a fixed, printable record. Excel supports further sorting and review; CSV supports agreed data exchange. Veristow's export workflow generates supported formats from the selected report and authorised scope. Recheck the generated document's business identity, dates, totals and units before sharing it outside the operation.

03

Make status understandable without colour alone

Consistent status labels and colour cues help readers distinguish completed, active, review and problem states. The text must carry the meaning when a report is printed in monochrome. A blank value, zero and missing timing information also mean different things; they should not be interpreted as interchangeable performance results.

04

Reconcile a sample back to the source

For a stock report, trace a receipt and dispatch back to their movements. For billing, compare a charge against its contract. For workforce, compare an attendance correction and an assigned task against their original records. This makes a pilot meaningful and reveals differences caused by filters, dates or units before a monthly review.

Common questions

Can reports be limited to a single client?

Use the report's available client filter within your authorised scope. Client portal exports must remain restricted to that client's permitted records.

Does every report have the same filters?

No. Filters and columns depend on the report. A stock snapshot, movement ledger and attendance report answer different questions and use different source data.
