Keep stock ownership clear
Stock needs more context than a product and quantity. Your team needs to know the client, warehouse, location and stock status before it moves. Veristow connects inventory records to these operational dimensions, with movements recorded in the stock ledger.
- Follow receiving, putaway, allocation and dispatch through their workflows.
- Review available, reserved, damaged and quarantined stock as distinct states.
- Use warehouse and client context when reviewing reports.
Give clients visibility they can use
The client portal offers authorised access to stock, orders, inbound records, returns, reports and invoices. This gives clients a way to look up their own information while protecting other clients' records. Access is configured for the client's account and enabled modules.
Connect service work to billing
Use client contracts, rate cards, billing events, draft charges and invoices to review chargeable activity. Storage, handling and additional work need agreed rules. Validate those rules with representative client transactions before generating a billing run.
Expand one verified site at a time
An owner can oversee multiple warehouses while staff work within their assigned sites. A phased rollout lets you reconcile opening inventory and prove everyday flows at a pilot site before adding more warehouses. Network capacity and integration requirements should be assessed against your actual workload.
What to bring to your 3PL demo
Use a real operational example with sensitive information removed. The most useful demo follows one receipt through storage, picking, packing, dispatch and billing.
- Your warehouse count, client count and approximate daily orders.
- A sample product list, location format and client rate card.
- Your biggest exception: returns, missing proof, billing disputes or stock discrepancies.
- Existing software, barcode equipment and integration requirements.
